About Sudhar

Sudhar is an independent public-interest platform run by a group of professionals who believe that local problems deserve to be seen, documented and brought to attention.

Many issues are noticed by people every day — a damaged road, a school that needs attention, a neglected public space, a broken streetlight, drainage problems or other civic concerns. Often, these issues remain limited to conversations within the local community.

Sudhar provides a simple way to bring such issues into the public eye.

Anyone can share a civic issue with us through our available contact channels, along with photographs, details and the location of the issue. Our team reviews the information and verifies the location before publishing a report.

Once published, the issue may also be highlighted through our social media channels so that more people can become aware of what is happening in a particular area.

Where appropriate, we may also share a reported issue with the relevant public authority or official department so that the matter is brought to their attention.

Our purpose is not to blame individuals or organizations. It is to document what is visible on the ground, highlight places where improvement is needed, and help bring attention to issues that may otherwise go unnoticed.

We also believe that improvement is worth documenting. When a reported issue is addressed, we may update the report so that the public record reflects the change.

Sudhar is not a government department, political organization or official government platform. It is an independent initiative created to document local issues and encourage constructive improvement through public awareness.
